Nicolas Pronost is a postdoctoral researcher (MCER) in the VRLab at the EPFL (Switzerland). He studied Computer Science at the University of Rennes 1 (France), where he obtained his master degree in 2003. He then worked within the SIAMES Project of the INRIA/IRISA Laboratory (Rennes, France) obtaining his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Rennes 1 in December 2006. The main topics of this work were the analysis and the synthesis of human motions using normalized approaches to model both human and motion. He continued working there as Teaching Assistant until September 2007. And at this time, he went, thanks to an INRIA associated team, to the State Key Lab of CAD & CG at Zheijiang University (China) as a postdoctoral researcher during 9 months. He worked there on motion editing techniques using databases, morphology-independent representations and user interfaces. Finally he joined the 3DAH Marie Curie Program the 1st of September 2008.
